canot

Your exit plan,
executed and measured.

Locked in to Snowflake? Prove otherwise.

Canot rehearses your move to the host of your choice, in France, in Europe or on your own premises. The tool is open source and sends us nothing.

Source: Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, Amazon Redshift, Fabric / Synapse, Teradata, Oracle, SAP Datasphere, ClickHouse.
Copies, compares everything, replays your most expensive queries and writes a signed evidence file.

  • PIECE OF EVIDENCE CANOT · SIGNED RECORD GDPR Your data stays in your accounts.
  • PIECE OF EVIDENCE CANOT · SIGNED RECORD DORA Your exit plan is tested, not just written.
  • PIECE OF EVIDENCE CANOT · SIGNED RECORD Data Act You know what switching providers costs.
  • PIECE OF EVIDENCE CANOT · SIGNED RECORD SecNumCloud You choose a qualified host, depending on its offering.

The evidence file is evidence for these requirements, not certification. It says nothing about whether your contracts meet them.

Bring your data home, simply.

Changing hosts should not be an act of faith. Canot copies your data to where you want it to live, compares the copy to the original and hands you the evidence.

A European host

Scaleway, OVHcloud, Outscale, IONOS, STACKIT: one shortcut per host, or any S3-compatible storage. You choose, based on your sovereignty requirements.

On your premises

A folder, a NAS, internal S3 storage (MinIO, Ceph), with your own proxy and certificate authority. No cloud at the destination.

No dependency on Canot

The copy uses the open Apache Iceberg format: DuckDB, Spark and Trino read it. You can check it without us, and move off it whenever you want.

SecNumCloud qualification, when it matters to you, depends on the host's specific offering: check the ANSSI list. Canot certifies nothing.

A verdict, what moves as is, and what to fix before you leave. The technical detail stays available to your teams, with a signed log that makes any change visible.

CIOs and data leaders

An exit cost measured before you negotiate your renewal, instead of a rough guess.

Data engineers

One command, Apache-2.0 code, tests. You see everything it does before you run it.
